How do I know if coaching is for me?

You will know that Self-Love & Relationship Coaching is for you if you're ready to take action towards achieving your personal and romantic goals. Compass[ion] Coaching uses an action-oriented approach that fuses metacognition & behavioral science with success psychology to help you deepen your self-esteem, develop life-affirming goals, and open your heart to healthy relationships.

At Compass[ion] Coaching, we believe that our clients don't "need" us, or any other coach, for that matter. In fact, we operate by the belief that each person already has all the answers they need inside of them. That being said, there is tremendous value in working with someone who can help guide deeper self-discovery and self-exploration, allowing them to progress more in 12 weeks than you they would be able to on their own, doing anywhere from 12+ months' worth of inner work in the span of only 3 months. THAT is what Compass[ion] Coaching helps our clients' achieve - rapidly accelerated, focused, deep progression via guidance and support.

What's the difference between coaching and therapy?

Therapy focuses on helping clients process and heal from traumatic life experiences, and it is incredibly beneficial in terms of accepting past events, healing from trauma, and receiving formal / professional diagnoses and medication for existing mental health conditions. Coaching, in contrast, focuses less on past occurrences and more on your present & future objectives, and it does NOT offer any mental health or medical diagnoses to clients. Our present and future-oriented focus is because coaching pushes you to self-growth by providing mentorship, guidance, and actionable plans to support your growth in deepening your relationship with yourself and others.
 

Coaching can be an excellent complimentary practice to participate in while you're also in therapy or working with a licensed mental health professional. Please note that our coaching services do not replace therapy, nor are they created to diagnose or treat mental illness. For assistance with medication, mental health diagnoses, and medical diagnoses, please see a licensed mental health professional and / or a licensed medical professional (psychiatrist) in your state / city. Do you offer a free introductory coaching session?

Yes, we do! Compass[ion] Coaching offers a FREE 30-min Discovery Call, during which you & your coach will go over key focus-areas you are hoping to explore and grow in, and then you will work together to create a step-by-step action plan that outlines immediate ways for you to move forward in your growth journey. Whether you are discovering your sense of self-love, hoping to solidify healthy boundaries & self-esteem, or looking for guidance with a romantic partner and relationship, this FREE 30-min Discovery Call is your opportunity to give coaching a try and to see if you & your coach are an excellent fit for each other!

What does a coach / client relationship look like?

The relationship between you & your coach needs to have a solid foundation of TRUST, COMPASSION, & RESPECT. Your coach is NOT in any way here to judge you, tell you what to do, or command you on how you should live your life. A good coach does quite the opposite, in fact - she asks open-ended questions, explores your needs & priorities, and guides YOU to set goals for yourself. At Compass[ion] Coaching, no one will impose goals upon you that you didn't create, tell you what you "should" do, or order you around - that's NOT how we do things here.

Here, we practice open communication and honesty between clients & coaches - you don't have to be "perfect," "likable," or anything society tells you to be, so just be YOU during your coaching calls!

How frequently should coaching sessions be scheduled?

That all depends on YOU and what you're ready to get out of coaching! If you are looking for an accelerated, powerful boost to your habits & thought patterns, then booking coaching 1x / week for 12 weeks is the best option for you to see incredible, rapid transformation. Once you've completed this 3-month program, you're welcome to keep a consistent personal development practice by  booking sessions for 2x / month over 3-6 months. This is excellent to compliment the other services you participate in, such as therapy, meditation retreats, self-growth workshops, etc.

These programs are set in duration because the goal of coaching is to promote your own self-sufficiency in your personal growth journey, rather than to create a "dependency" on our services. This is why we empower YOU with the tools you need to grow independently by the time you conclude our program(s).

What is your refund & cancellation policy?

24-HOUR NOTICE REQUIRED:

All cancellations must be requested and processed with a minimum 24-hour notice prior to your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24-hour's notice are not eligible for a refund.


All rescheduling of coaching calls must be requested and processed with a minimum 24-hour notice prior to your appointment. Rescheduling requests made with less than 24-hour's notice will not be processed in time, and will be counted as a no-show coaching call.

CANCELLING PACKAGES:

Buying coaching packages with Compass[ion] Coaching is RISK-FREE and backed by our refund guarantee. When you book a coaching package with 4 or more sessions, you can cancel your remaining sessions at ANY TIME as long as you notify your cancellation at least 24 hours before your next scheduled coaching call. You will be fully refunded for all unused coaching sessions remaining in your package.

Do you offer any free content?

Absolutely! In addition to our paid online workshops, coaching packages, & individual coaching sessions, we offer completely free coaching content on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Consider these short videos to be a bite-sized version of what you will dive into when you purchase your first coaching package. To begin your journey to self-growth & healthy relationships, start by booking your FREE 30-min Discovery Call now by clicking on the "Bookings" tab at the top of the webpage. Once you select the date & time for your free coaching call, be sure to show up to your appointment with a pen & paper for note taking - your session will be packed with information! Please feel free to bring any questions as well - all questions are welcome!

Once your free call is complete, you will receive a recommendation on how to proceed forward with your personal development journey, including free resources, books / online content to guide you, and a recommended coaching package with a frequency that is  the best fit for you!
